Garren Barnes was born and raised in the Magnolia State of Mississippi, where he continues to reside. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Delta State University. Inspired by his mother’s passion for literature, poetry, and teaching, Garren began exploring the idea of writing children’s books as a means to introduce young readers to history. This curiosity evolved into a lifelong commitment to writing. Recognizing his true calling, Garren has dedicated himself to his craft, aspiring to contribute to the rich tradition of Southern literature.
